How to Make Money Designing Logos

You can make money designing logos…

And you don’t have to be a designer, or even think that you’re a creative person! I’m going to show you how to quickly create a variety of logos for clients and give you two ways to sell them.

Sell logo designs directly… on Fiverr, Etsy, your own website, or a graphics marketplace.

Here’s how to sell logos on your own site:

  1. Set up your page with multiple logo designs you’ve created yourself. Then ask your customer to pick one for you to modify.
  2. Use a brief questionnaire to find out what type of logo your customer desires. Then create 3 or 4 variations for them to choose from.

The second option will take more time but produce a more unique design (and likely greater value to your customer). However, although your goal should always be to provide amazing value, make sure that the time you spend is worth your profit.

You can use the “Save As” feature and keep a separate folder of logo designs you’d like to offer in your Graphics Creator. This is how they’ll always be easy to find and quick to modify.

You can also sell your creations in a design marketplace:

Become a digital products vendor in a marketplace and earn up to 70% of each sale. There are also some other big benefits of selling your logos and graphics in a marketplace.

One of the biggest benefits is that an established marketplace will bring traffic to your product so that you can focus on creating products instead of marketing. Template Monster takes it a step further and even gives you your own personal advisor to help you add products and answer all of your questions.

Add value to your offer by adding logo design as part of a package.

If you’re struggling to sell your services as a social media manager, virtual assistant, or coach, it’s likely that people aren’t seeing your offer as valuable enough to spend their money on.

Here’s an easy fix: Offer a custom logo with any service package!

This idea isn’t limited to service providers either. A logo can become a bonus or valuable add-on to a business product as well. Everyone who’s in business needs a logo to help them stand out and get recognized, especially if they’re trying to get noticed in the online marketplace.

Here are a few important considerations when designing logos for money:

Yes, you get a license to sell any of your graphic designs created using Laughingbird Software (included for FREE)!

Just keep in mind that templates inside the software must be modified by adding/deleting text or graphic elements, changing colors, importing other images, and/or re-sizing objects.

When working with clients, make sure to set out the entire offer in writing, including how many revisions you’ll create for free.

Designing logos for money is a great business option for anyone using Laughingbird Software… sell just one logo for $50 and you’ve more than covered your out-of-pocket expense.

Now, how about selling other graphic designs to your clients as well? 🙂

Developing products or services, advertising, and blog writing are completely separate jobs when it comes to growing your business, aren't they?

How to make someone buy your product online (Get customers to click)

When you're selling a product or service online, the most important thing is getting people to click on your link and buy what you're offering (this is called "a conversion"). It can be tricky to get people to buy from you when they can't see or touch what you're selling, but with the right approach, you can make it happen.
